Online Shopping & Practical 2!

The different types of sites found on the internet.

That was what I was introduced to me on Thursday in the EIR class. The various types of sites includes blogs, wikis, electronic journals, news websites such as CNN.com and also forums that allows net users discuss and provide information on various topics such as food to sports or even entertainment news.

As an avid user of the net, I have already been introduced to most of the types since the day WWW.COM was introduced to me. The internet to me is one of the most powerful tools on the planet, which could either have positive or negative impacts on the lives of people. One of my more favourite sites is CNN.com that I visit almost every day in the week. This site interests me the most as it provides 24 hours, live news, either in the form or text or videos. Being a fan of history, and global issues, I really enjoy visiting this site every single day.

Other than news websites, blogs contribute to my daily reading pleasure. Either blogs of friends or just surfing through blog shops.

Apart from that, we were also given a task to shop and were given 500 dollars to spend!
The shopping website that sells this product is called Weapon Masters. (http://www.weaponmasters.com/shopping/home.html)
They are professionals in weapon creation and are situated in the USA and Canada. The link provided is their online website that allows users to browse through their products for purchase, via their shops or through delivery.

I chose this item for purchase:

Its a replica of the sword, Frostmourne, wielded by The Lich King,
the former, Arthas Menethil. This replica was crafted by the people of Weapon masters and costs at around 196 Singapore dollars.

And other than the sword itself, I'll buy the Ice Shard that holds the sword in place for display. It is made of clear poly resin and looks very appealing with the sword intact.

I would really love to get this sword as I am a big fan of world of warcraft and owning this sword, even if its made of latex, means a lot to me. The last time I saw the exact replica that was 47" long, I totally fell in love with it.

Both will cost me...$474 Singapore dollars.
Just 26$ below the budget!

Well, i guess that's all and I am looking forward to tomorrow's class!
See you guys.
